Bankman-Fried demanded access back to FTX and Alameda assets

Attorneys for Sam Bankman-Fried said the former FTX head should be given access to assets and cryptocurrencies owned by the exchange and its trading arm, Alameda Research.According to them, there is no evidence that he is responsible for the unauthorized transactions of the trading venues.As part of his bail conditions, Bankman-Fried was banned from accessing cryptocurrency owned by FTX and Alameda Research. This came after the government cited illegal transfers from Alameda wallets.“It has been nearly three weeks since the initial pretrial meeting, and we believe that the government investigation has confirmed what Mr. Bankman-Fried has been saying all along; namely, that he did not have access to or transfer these assets,” attorney Mark Cohen said in a letter.
