Bloomberg and Grayscale collaborate to launch a new digital asset-related index "BGFOF"

Bloomberg and Grayscale Investments announced on Wednesday a partnership to launch a new digital asset-based index called "BGFOF" (Bloomberg Grayscale Future of Finance Index). The index tracks 22 digital asset, fintech-related companies that are expected to significantly contribute to the growth of the digital economy over the next two years, with companies representing the “future of finance” categorized by three key pillars: Financial Fundamentals, digital asset infrastructure and technology solutions, this covers segments such as payments, transactions, asset management, hardware, blockchain/tech or mining companies. Founded in 2013, Grayscale Investments is the world's largest digital currency asset management company with over $38.2 billion in assets under management as of January 18, 2022. Through its line of investment products, Grayscale provides exposure to digital currencies in the form of securities, eliminating the need for people to directly purchase, store and keep digital currencies.
