Alexander Bastrykin, chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, said that people who use cryptocurrencies should not remain anonymous. Therefore, the circulation of digital currency requires further legal supervision. First, there must be mandatory identification of users of this currency. The status of the online platform that offers the opportunity to buy and sell cryptocurrencies anonymously is also yet to be determined. It is reported that the Investigative Committee is Russia's main federal investigation and anti-corruption agency, under the Russian President.
