Charlie Munger: Hope cryptocurrencies are banned soon

Buffett’s business partner, Charlie Munger, thinks VCs and Bitcoin are a bit overextended, and he even thinks cryptocurrencies should be banned. Munger said: "I want it to be banned right away. I certainly didn't invest in cryptocurrencies and it makes me proud to shy away from it. Cryptocurrencies are like STDs. It makes me dismissive. The 98-year-old billionaire has long been a critic of bitcoin, having previously called it "rat poison." Munger made similar comments about cryptocurrencies at an online conference in December, saying at the time, I wish they had never been invented. Again I admire the Chinese, I think they made the right decision to simply ban them. In my country, bad decisions have been made, and I just can't stand to participate in these crazy booms, in whatever form.
