Colorado to accept bitcoin for tax payments this summer

Colorado Governor Jared Schutz Polis just announced that Colorado will begin accepting bitcoin for tax payments this summer. In an interview with CNBC, Polis revealed that Colorado plans to further experiment with more innovative payment models and is expected to launch a state token. Polis has been a long-time supporter of cryptocurrencies, and as a member of Congress, he was the first U.S. politician to accept bitcoin donations.
