Encrypted infrastructure startup Cion Digital completes US$12 million in financing, led by Green Visor Capital and others

On January 4, Cion Digital, a crypto infrastructure startup, announced the completion of a $12 million seed round of financing. This round of financing was co-led by Green Visor Capital and 645 Ventures. Cota Capital, Epic Ventures, Hourglass Capital Partners, BAT Ventures, Greycroft and Ulu Ventures and others participated in the investment. This round of financing will be used to expand its team size and launch an infrastructure platform, and set up a research and development center in Pune, India. Cion Digital is an encryption infrastructure startup. The initial version of the company's platform is expected to be launched in the first quarter of this year. The platform is designed to help companies or organizations such as traditional financial institutions and registered investment consulting companies provide encryption services.
