Ethereum development tools platform Hardhat will operate as a non-profit

On February 10th, Nomic Labs, an Ethereum development tool platform Hardhat development company, plans to transform into a non-profit organization and will be renamed the "Nomic Foundation". Hardhat aims to raise $30M, has received $15M in grants, Ethereum Foundation, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, and crypto investments from Coinbase, Consensys, Andreessen Horowitz, The Graph, Polygon, Chainlink, a_capital, and Kaszek Ventures or business organizations as donors. It is reported that Nomic Labs was launched in 2018. To meet its $30 million fundraising goal, the group plans to submit funding proposals to several Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs).
