FTX US President: Institutional Investors Have Not Entered Crypto Space as Quickly as Expected

Digital currencies such as Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) are eating into Bitcoin (BTC) market share, FTX.US President Brett Harrison said in an interview with CNBC's Squawk Box , over time, the weakening trend of Bitcoin’s dominance in the crypto market will continue, while the market value of proof-of-stake assets like ETH and SOL will rise. Additionally, Brett Harrison emphasized that institutional investors have not entered the cryptocurrency space as quickly as initially expected, and many of the world’s largest institutional investors are still on the sidelines and awaiting clear regulation before allocating funds to crypto assets , he explained: “I’ve had hundreds of conversations with pension funds, family offices and large banks whose employees have all entered the crypto industry privately, but not at the institutional level.”
