Galaxy Digital buys custody platform GK8 from bankrupt Celsius

Mike Novogratz’s company Galaxy Digital has won an auction to buy the GK8 custodial platform from bankrupt Celsius Network.Terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, Galaxy co-president Chris Ferraro said the firm bought the assets for significantly less than Celsius.Celsius bought the site last year for $115 million.The company said the purchase of GK8 would help in expanding Galaxy’s core brokerage offerings.
