India's pre-budget expectations survey: nearly 80% of respondents believe that encryption regulation needs to be strengthened

A survey of pre-budget expectations on Saturday showed that more and more Indians are demanding stronger regulation of the cryptocurrency industry. According to Grant Thornton Bharat’s survey, nearly 79% of respondents believe that India’s Budget FY23 should focus on regulating cryptocurrencies and NFTs. In addition, more than 75% of the respondents believed that the Budget should focus on green energy, the Data Privacy Bill and the Public Credit Registration Scheme.
