Nepalese police have arrested three persons suspected of trading cryptocurrencies in violation of the country’s central bank rules, Rajan Bhattarai, 21, Bishal Shrestha, 25, and Dipen Raj Shrestha, 27. According to the tip, a special team from the capital's crime department arrested three people in Minbavan, Kathmandu, on Thursday. Police said Bhattarai has so far conducted 1,926 transactions in cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, with 975 people and a turnover of Rs 2.6 million. Likewise, two other people are involved in cryptocurrency exchanges.
