Over 9 million ETH staked in Ethereum 2.0 deposit contracts

Data shows that more than 9 million ETH is pledged in the Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract. At current prices, nearly $30 billion is being used to secure the proof-of-stake network and further access Ethereum’s native assets. The 9 million staked ETH represents 280,000 active validators. Currently, that number is growing by about 1% per week and continues to further decentralize the network.
