Terra signs 5-year, $40 million sponsorship deal with MLB Washington Nationals

On February 10, Terra announced a five-year sponsorship deal with the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball (MLB) for $40 million from Terra community members and investors. As part of the agreement, the algorithmic stablecoin UST could be accepted as payment by Nationals Park as early as next season. The collaboration also includes creating a digital series for the team's social platforms, adding Terra logos and logos within Nationals Park, and renaming the Nationals Club (the main rest area behind home plate) to Terra Club.
