Twitter tipping feature adds support for Ethereum wallets

Twitter announced Wednesday that mobile users of Twitter have been able to add ethereum addresses to a list of potential tippers. The company launched NFT avatar verification for paid "Twitter Blue" subscribers last month. A Twitter spokesperson said that Ethereum wallets are available to all users who agree to the company's tipping policy, but the new feature does not yet support ENS domains. As of press time, it is unclear whether tipping using ERC-20 tokens and stablecoins (not just ETH, the native token of the Ethereum blockchain) is supported. Twitter also said it has rolled out tips in Nigeria, Ghana and India.
