US NFT trademarks to grow 420 times in 2021

According to Finbold data, more than 1,200 NFT-related trademarks will be registered in the United States in 2021, a 420-fold increase from the previous year. More than 400 trademarks were filed in December 2021 and none in January 2021. There were 450 applications in January 2022, up 550% from the previous six months, as popularity and sales growth accelerated in recent months. Additionally, the NFT industry has exploded over the past year, with sales reaching $4.4 billion last month, an increase of nearly 8,000% from January 2021.
