As the cryptocurrency craze continues, the USC Marshall School of Business is adding and adapting their curriculum, investing in and creating new opportunities for MBA students to familiarize themselves with the digital economy. In fact, investment firm Van Eck Associates donated $5 million to the USC Marshall School of Business in early February to build a cryptocurrency and blockchain-focused program that includes new courses, research opportunities and events. Donations made by USC Marshall undergraduate alumni Cynthia van Eck and her husband Jan will give students the opportunity to learn about Bitcoin, blockchain and NFTs.
