OPENDIME introduction
Bitcoin hardware wallet manufacturer OPENDIME is one of the leading technology companies in the field of digital currency security. It belongs to Coinkite, a Canadian company that provides Bitcoin, Litecoin wallets and payment terminal services. It supports legal currencies including US dollars, RMB, Euros, Canadian dollars, British pound, Polish zloty, Russian ruble, Australian dollar, Japanese yen, Brazilian currency, Swedish krona, etc. The private key of the OPENDIME hardware wallet is generated inside the device and is not known to anyone. Each OPENDIME holds a private key which releases the public key (payment address) to anyone until the key is "unsealed" never revealed. It's like a piggy bank. You have to destroy the funds it spends. It may seem expensive and wasteful, but that's one of the keys to its security model: when it's opened, you can trust the sealed OPENDIME. Because it puts the private key in a physical form you can trust, and there is no predefined amount of Bitcoin, you can deposit as much as you want. Once that piece has been broken, the file content will be changed and the private key will be reflected in the privatekey.txt file and the QR code image. There is no way back, and once the seal is broken, you should move the funds to another wallet.
