Buterin: Cryptocurrencies have 'dystopian potential'

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin appeared on the cover of Time magazine this week after an interview in which he revealed concerns about the future of the crypto industry. God V said,

1. Cryptocurrencies have “dystopian potential”;

2. Ethereum is more than money;

3. Buterin felt he was “yelling at the wind”;

4. The Ukraine crisis shows the benefits of cryptocurrencies;

5. Ethereum could become very different;

6. The ousted co-founder has sour grapes;

7. Fees frustrate Buterin;

8. Not doing enough with regard to gender equality;

9. Buterin doesn’t like how the DAO votes;

10. Ethereum sharding needs to happen as soon as possible.
