Bitcoin payments provider OpenNode has closed a $20 million Series A round at a valuation of $220 million, led by British firm Kingsway, to fuel its global expansion.

Other participants in the round include Twitter, venture capitalist Tim Draper and Avon Ventures, a venture capital fund affiliated with Fidelity Investments.
